Domino Event at Bayside Elementary School
Last week, Bayside Elementary School partnered with Queen Anne’s County Goes Purple and Haven Ministries to host a meaningful community fundraiser focused on giving back. Students donated boxes of cereal to support individuals and families in need through Haven Ministries.
As part of the project, students were encouraged to write important life tips, facts, and messages of encouragement directly on the cereal boxes. These notes helped students learn more about the Queen Anne’s County Goes Purple initiative while also ensuring their messages stay with the boxes as they are distributed to those receiving assistance.
The donation concluded with a Domino Event that visually demonstrated how each student’s individual contribution came together to create a powerful, collective impact. It served as a great reminder of how small acts of kindness can combine to support a much larger cause.
