QACPS Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs focus on workforce priorities and emerging careers. Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) are driving the 21st-century economy. Chesapeake College’s Workforce Training and Skilled Trades Programs provide training for you or your staff, focusing on your business, technology, or manufacturing priorities.

QAC Economic & Tourism Development’s Career Technology Development program provides opportunities for youth to get on-the-job training & experience. It also serves the local business community by connecting them with a local youth workforce for internships, apprenticeship & careers.

The students also visited the construction site for the new YMCA and learned more about the project from the site Project Supervisor from KRM Construction.
