Wellness Fairs at Queen Anne's County Public Schools
Last month, Queen Anne’s County High School and Kent Island High School hosted Wellness Fairs during lunch periods in recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month.
The events provided students with an opportunity to learn about the many mental health, wellness, and support resources available to them both within their schools and throughout the community. By connecting students with local organizations and information, the fairs helped raise awareness about the importance of mental health and encouraged students to seek support when needed.
These successful events would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of Striving for Wellness Together, which organized and hosted the fairs in partnership with both schools. Their commitment to promoting mental health awareness continues to make a positive impact on students across Queen Anne’s County.
