Invasive Weed Spraying at White Marsh Park and Conquest Preserve

From July 6 through July 10, Queen Anne’s County Parks and Recreation will be applying herbicides along the unpaved walking trails at White Marsh Park and Conquest Preserve.

The herbicide application is part of an effort to remove invasive plant species and improve the natural landscape. During this time, hikers are encouraged to remain on the designated unpaved trails, avoid contact with treated vegetation, and closely supervise children and pets.

Once the herbicides have dried, they no longer pose a risk to people or pets.
