Libbey's Coastal Kitchen Installs 1 Million Oysters To Clean the Chesapeake Bay
Did you know you can help support the health of the Chesapeake Bay right from your own dock?
Libbey’s Coastal Kitchen has installed 1 million oysters on the pilings of their dock as part of an effort to improve the health of the Bay. They partnered with local community members, Horn Point Laboratory, and John Consoli to make this incredible project possible.
The best part? This is something you can do from your own dock or pier without interrupting the activities you enjoy, whether that’s boating, kayaking, or simply spending time on the water.
Libbey’s has made an incredible impact by adding 1 million oysters, but you don’t need to reach that number to make a difference. Every oyster counts!
