Last year, we met with Bill Peake, a passionate Eastern Shore resident who’s making a real difference in the health of the Chesapeake Bay. Bill has developed a highly efficient and sustainable method of oyster farming that cleans the bay while providing a safe, local food source.
The oysters in this video start as tiny spat and, with proper care, grow to impressive size in just over a year.
