Pet Preparedness Workshop

As the natural disasters grow more unpredictable, preparing for worst case scenarios is the best way to ensure safety for you and your loved ones– including your pets. According to a study in 2021, the ASPCA reports that while 90% of pet owners would bring their pets during a natural disaster, only 46% are actually prepared for such an incident. With that in mind, the Queen Anne’s County Animal Services and DES will be hosting the Pet Preparedness Workshop on January 25th at 12PM at the Kent Island Library in Room 128. This workshop will be centered around making sure that you have a safe and secure way to vacate all of your pets safely during high stress moments.
