QACHS CTE Carpentry Class
We visited the CTE Carpentry class at Queen Anne’s County High School, where Carpentry Instructor Ron Frederick gave us an inside look at what students learn in the program.
QACPS Career and Technology Education (CTE) programs are responsive to shifting workforce priorities and emerging careers. Science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) are driving the 21st-Century economy. The CTE programs offered by QACPS help students prepare for success in a wide range of careers and continuing education. Students add value to their overall education by completing CTE programs of study that provide opportunities to earn industry-recognized credentials and college credit while still in high school.
