From the Maryland State Police Press Release: <br /><br />"An autopsy conducted today confirmed the body found in the water along the Kent Island shoreline yesterday afternoon is that of the Queen Anne's County woman who has been missing for three weeks.<br /><br />"Doctors at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore positively identified the deceased as Robin L. Pope, 51, of Stevensville, Md. The identification was made through dental records.<br /><br />"The cause and manner of death were not identified today. That investigation will be continued by forensic pathologists at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner."
