Talk Saves Lives: “A Brief Introduction to Suicide Prevention” The AFSP Maryland Chapter and Queen Anne’s County Safety Net Committee* are hosting an introduction to suicide prevention, on May 6 at 6 pm at Kent Island Methodist Church, 2739 Cox Neck Rd, Chester, MD 21619. They will cover the general scope of suicide prevention, the research on prevention, and what people can do to fight suicide. Attendees will learn the risk and warning signs, of suicide, and how together, we can help prevent it.
