Vintage Baseball Game - Sudlersville 250
Did you miss the chance to step back in time for a vintage baseball game?
On October 10, Sudlersville Park hosted a vintage baseball showdown featuring The Eclipse Base Ball Club of Elkton and the Rising Sun Base Ball Club!
Hosted by the Queen Anne’s County MD250 Committee, MD250 Revolutionary Baseball, and the Sudlersville Community Betterment Club, the event gave the community a chance to experience how America’s pastime was played in the 19th century.
From underhand pitching and playing without gloves to recording outs on fly balls caught after the first bounce, the game featured unique rules and traditions that made baseball a very different experience from the game we know today.
Step back in time and enjoy the full, edited version of this special vintage baseball game!
